Annoyed, Yoongi rolled his eyes as he listened to the younger’s whining. Witnessing his best friend falling to the floor at practice nearly had the rapper himself fainting. In the moment, time seemed to slow down and he had found it difficult to even catch a breath for the duration of the event. He didn’t want to think about what could have happened if it wasn’t due to a high fever. “Ho—”
“Hyung, I’ll be fine on my own!”
Another sigh and Yoongi was at the bed, lowering himself down to sit on the edge of it. “Stop talking.” He waited as Hoseok transitioned through opening his mouth to speak, pausing to think about it, then ultimately sinking back into his blankets in defeat. “Good. I’ve already talked to the other members about it, once you’re better we can both practice extra hard to make up for it. It’ll be better to have someone to practice with anyway.” He offered an encouraging smile then pushed himself off the bed to head towards the doorway. “I’ll make some soup.”
Hoseok laid still on the mattress, a frown permanently marring his features. He didn’t want Yoongi, or any of the members for that matter, taking care of him. He was burdening his hyung and he knew it. He knew Yoongi would feel burdened having to practice extra after he had gotten better, and Hoseok didn’t want to be the cause of that. But he also knew that there was no way to stop Yoongi from caring for him now. Yoongi could be dreadfully stubborn, and while Hoseok had always thought it to be one of his hyung’s good points, he didn’t like it one bit at that moment.
“Hyung–” He quickly sat up as he saw the other making his way out of the room, blood instantly rushing to his head, causing him to fall back against the mattress with a groan. “Can you.. not go? I mean–” Hoseok held his head in his hands, massaging his temples as he willed the incoming headache away. “I’m not really that hungry right now.. Can I just have some medicine? You don’t have to make anything for me.” It wasn’t so much that he wasn’t hungry, because really, Hoseok knew if he smelled food he would be drooling in a second. He just didn’t want his hyung to have to do more than necessary for him.
